The Basic Income Lab was pleased to welcome Marie-Laure Mulayi for a stay as a Visiting Student Researcher to the lab. As a doctoral student at KU Leuven’s Center for Sociological Research (CeSo), Marie-Laure has been part of an inter-university project investigating the feasibility of introducing a basic income in Belgium. Her key research question: Do people view a basic income as a basic right? Or do they see it as illegitimate?
